We further explore power and privilege dynamics, and how these can be used sensitively to ensure that people who access services are treated with dignity and respect.

Through a range of creative learning tools, learners are encouraged to reflect on their practice, share their knowledge and perspectives, and action plan throughout the session through the use of the ‘North Stars’ tool.

Managing Diversity through Leadership sessions for team leaders, senior managers and trustees of boards explore how as an organisation the Equality policy is ‘fit for purpose’ across the whole organisation. Learners are invited to reflect on the diversity of the workforce and who uses services. Through a range of creative learning tools there is an opportunity to share good practice and set clear objectives for moving forward on embedding equality into the core business.

Exploring Culture, Race & Religion Sessions  with a focus on Christianity and Islam. Shuguftah brings a unique perspective to allow people of faith to understand ‘the other’ in a safe and supportive learning environment. With the rise of hate crime and Islamaphobia, these sessions seek to build understanding, harmony and cohesion in the communities where people worship.
